I signed up for a computer dating service. This morning I got a message from a vibrant young man that we should talk sometime. I looked at his profile…he is 25 and looking for someone up to 28.
He made me smile. Have to admit he made my day! LOL
but i have become a bona fide hermit. I do not have agoraphobia. I function in the world…go to work, see family and friends occassionally. I talk online with friends often.
However, I have no one close to me in the real world that I share my life. No one who cares for me behind closed doors or to go special places and have special times.
It is my own doing. I cut myself off from letting anyone close to me.
I confess this because to welcome a close intimate love into my life again is a huge thing for me. I have not been ready to risk my heart for a very long time.
