Danger Will Robinson!!!  — 1 week ago

Today it’s good to be in the wilderness…cool, rainy, fresh air, high in the 60’s.

Back home it’s a Red Ozone day…deadly for people like me with pulmonary issues. Seems the DFW Metroplex has really bad air quality compared to the rest of the country fairly often.

Wonder what’s up with that?

wish I had my oxygen machine today~  — 2 weeks ago

Woke up this morning thinking my cold/flu was back and discovered we have smoke pouring into the Valley. We aren’t sure which airstream is bringing it to us but we thought we would make it through this summer without any wildfires. So far no local fires but any day there could be a change.

Still not as bad as last year when there was ash falling on everything…

I am working for said I look really good lately. She noticed and commented that I have lost weight. :)

She is a former model and fashion designer who now designs furniture. It was so cool she noticed how hard I have been working on getting back in shape.

As of today, July 1st, 2008 no more fried, fast or decandently fattening foods or excessively caloried drinks.

Heaven knows I have had more than my share so for now it’s veggies, fish and fruit plus lots of water!

When I was younger  — 4 months ago

exercise was part of my daily routine. I loved it! It was what kept me fit and stressless. I had forgotten how much that helps me.

Lately I have begun exercising everyday again. The more I move the more I want to move if that makes any sense. It makes me feel so good.

This has been a long hard winter. I am looking forward to sunny spring days to play outside. :)

The flu bug  — 8 months ago

seems to be turning into depression. I can’t seem to feel better…I have a huge headache, achy all over my body and can’t seem to get warm.

All I want to do is sleep.

Whenever I get stressed  — 8 months ago

by a major life adjustment (which happens often in my world) I get sick. I started getting the chills last night and today I cannot get warm at all. My head hurts and I feel achy all over.

I didn’t get a flu shot. I never do. Maybe if this is just a little bug I’ll go get a shot just in case…

The fitter I get  — 11 months ago

the more I want to do. It seems when I was a couch potato sitting around watching the boob tube that is all I had energy to do.

Now the more I move around the more I can’t sit still. The stress is fading away from my face. The fat is melting off of my thighs and my mind is thinking clearer.

All without recreational or prescribed assistance from our legal drug dealers…what a concept!

Do you know that fit  — 12 months ago

does not mean thin as a post? It means to have good stamina, a healthy heart and excellent breathing capacity.

Weight truly is relevant only to those things…all else is what we call in the real estate business…cosmetic repair. ;)

I came home for lunch  — 12 months ago

and changed into my jogging suit and running shoes…maybe after work I’ll take a little run down by the river. They have beautiful trails I haven’t explored.
