volunteer in my community

I want to make whatever time I commit to each week be a blessing to someone.

I loved delivering Meals On Wheels. It was just as nice for me to take 2 hours a week to make certain that someone who was homebound had a smile and a meal everyday. I made some lovely friends doing this.

Politics has always been a passion of mine. More the issues facing us than actual political party lines. As voter services director of the League of Women Voters I was very active in voter regestration and candidate forums…think I will join the LWV this week.

can I give than my time and compassion. Until I got sick I was very active in my community. It is time to pick up where I left off.

Meals on Wheels was one of my favorite weekly outings…. think I’ll call them tomorrow.
