than most people ever own in their lifetime. Just by letting others have it instead of fighting to keep it.
All I can say is I had a brain tumor that clouded my judgement at the time. My first husband got our house and all of our rental property because I wanted the divorce and he didn’t. So I thought he should have it. When they all sold I got half of the equity but I’d rather have the property now. What was I thinking???
Then when my 2nd husband died I lost my home again due to my not taking care of myself by knowing our financial situation. Ignorance is not bliss!
I have been a nomad ever since losing that home. It is time for me to grow up and take care of my basic need of owning my own home again.

I’ve called the “Cultural District” of Fort Worth home. It has undergone some gentrification but most of the homes are older(built in the 1920’s)with big front porches, beautiful landscaping and the feel of a real neighborhood.
This is where I want to live and spend the rest of my time being a kooky, colorful, eccentric grandmama to my family…plus be an amazing sexy woman, foxy vixen lady, hunter, GODDESS to the rest of the world. :)

I went to see my dream home in Missoula. It is as adorable as I thought it would be.
However, the location is less than ideal. The freeway is a block away. I just left that situation in Fort Worth so I doubt I will buy this particular house.
I am a little sad about that. :(

I couldn’t have said this better myself:
“I want an old house that someone has given up on. I want to breathe some life into it and bring it back to its former glory! I want a garden full of trees and flowers and roses and lightning bugs and butterflies. I want to be able to sit out on the patio and feel like I am in an oasis. I want there to be plently of light inside. I want a yellow bedroom. Just once in my life. I want a dark, heavy staircase and big open hardwood floors where I’ll be able to hear the pitter patter of my feet and feel the smoothness on my toes. I want a giant claw-foot tub in an un-touched, original tiled bathroom. With big windows that open out to the outside. I want a small area on the roof, for a big telescope to look at the moon and stars. A big kitchen, to entertain all the guests. And a library, that can house all the books that I have and also want to collect. With a small sliding ladder and big heavy curtains, to protect everything from the light.”
How did you know what I’m looking for?

since I owned property. I have spent my adult career helping others get what I do not have. That is ridiculous! No wonder I was discouraged with my career. It was never my intention to be an agent. I was going to be a provider of homes.
For a woman that is all about homes and family this is an unacceptable situation. Think it’s time to open Montex Land Company and get busy finding my home for the holidays. :)

were fabulous when my boys were teenagers. We had a 2 story prairie style home built in 1925 with a huge front porch, a big wooden deck with a hot tub and a garage apartment for the boys. It was wonderful! We had lots of space for lots of people. It was grand.
Been there – done that. Now, in the bright crisp fall morning light I see me in a beautiful condo decorated with some art and antiques having dinner parties and special sleep overs with my grandbabies…nice and easy living.

The best idea I have had all weekend was to start shopping for a home of my own, plus some properties for my investment business.
When I help others buy their homes I have them describe it to me in detail. Not just the normal 3/2/2 but in a visual way of how they want it to actually look.
I put this into my catalog and when I see it I can take them directly to their new home.
When I first started doing this people thought I was strange. But it works like magic!
So now I am doing this for myself! This will be fun!

yesterday we were talking about what we want in our lives.
The neighborhood where we live is a nice quiet established older neighborhood that is very pretty. I looked at a house and said we could have one like that by the end of the year.
B said we do not want the same things…he wants to do something with his life and I want a nest. He also said we are at cross purposes. I didn’t get upset but acknowledged he is right.
I am going to buy a house in this neighborhood to live my life and share time with my children and grandchildren. He can share in that if he wants to but if the big world is calling him I wish him happiness and love.
