establish my production company

in Glacier Country I need a plan of action that I can follow everyday. Especially the days like today where I am not very motivated to be out making sales.

You’d think as financially crippled as I am with a ripe new territory of unlimited possibilities I would be out the door by 7 every morning…..8 at least.

Usually I am very results oriented so I do need a plan to make things happen.

I have my first big client as co-publisher of discovermontanadeals.com for the entire western portion of the state which the tourism department has named Glacier Country.

I am thrilled! The point of this project is to help people discover Montana businesses. I am like an Ambassador of good will and business growth. :)

of Discover Montana Deals that I couldn’t commit to doing his project because I probably would have to return to Texas to work for a corpoaration in order to survive.

Today he sent a really cute e-mail with the cons of moving back to Texas and the Pros of staying in the wilderness…he was very persuasive and I don’t even know this guy.

Have to rethink my decision… :)

I am learning Adobe Photoshop today. It seems like a foreign language to me. Luckily I have always loved the challenge of learning new things.

I told her I was going to continue my mortgage business for now but actually take some graphic design and film classes to enhance my web design production business. This is my passion. It was a business that B and I could have been very successful with had we been able to work as partners.

I could hear the disapproval in her silence. It was deafening.
She and I are soooo different.

I quickly remembered what my son recently told me about doing what we are passionate about and abundance will be ours. I think that’s what I taught him for his entire life. It feels great to know he was listening to me! :)

Real estate has been my life but I’d like to branch out with my production company too – web design, podcasts, v-logs, videos, etc.

I had a web design company with Brandon in Texas. It could have been very successful but he didn’t want to bill his friends/clients.

I have a feeling this could be a very successful venture for me.

did not work out so well. It is hard work and even harder when you don’t own the paper and it really doesn’t have a niche yet. I have decided to concentrate my efforts on more profitable activities.

I did however get all of the competitor’s rates in the area for the publisher.
My production company idea really has nothing to do with print advertising. Have to keep focused and not let other’s detour me.
