dance everyday!

Since I am the only one here I can crank up the music…today it’s Mick Jaguar & David Bowie…who could resist Dancing in the Street? :)

So I turned on Garth Brooks and danced around the showroom to I’ve Got Friends in Low Places…way fun. ;)

every Wednesday evening at a local honky tonk. A friend has been going and loves it. I have been staying away but last night I was actually listening to a local radio station called “Hank radio”.

After I stopped laughing at the name (reminded me of King of the Hill)I started enjoying the music, missing all of the times I went dancing at Billy Bob’s or other great places in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Maybe I should try the dance lessons here in the wilderness.

in the world to do is to dance. I am dancin’ around the shop today…can’t seem to stay in my seat.

I have been practicing the Shimmy with a program on Direct TV. It has been fun to do alone in the living room but I’m not sure I’d show anyone my new dance.

Maybe with a little more practice.

dancing with friends at clubs and at home just for fun. They are amazed that I dance so well. It is fun! Dancing brings me so much joy.

When I was young I spent hours dancing around the house and knew all of the new dances as they came out. I wanted to take formal lessons but was not allowed by my mother.

Her critical words still ring in my mind. Sadly, I listened to her instead of developing a God given talent.

No regrets. It is a much sweeter past time for that. ;)

the TV entertainers (talk show hosts, newscasters, etc) usually have a theme song that pumps them up for their entrance onto the stage…that’s why they have the confident smile and spring in their step…or so the story went.

I once had a friend that marched to John Philip Sousa music each morning around her apartment. She swore it fends off depression and made her smile.

I’m putting some thought into this.

What song would you choose?

I love the ballet! One of my regrets in life is I never studied it but that does not stop me from being an avid fan!

I just found a delightful library of balletvideos on You Tube. It isn’t the same as watching in the theater but it is beautiful just the same.

This week I found music for everyone at US Live Radio with 2500 streaming radio stations around the country plus stations in Canada, Australia, Europe and New Zealand.

Dance on my Friends! :)

I used to do this two – three times a week plus my friends and I went dancing alot when I was in Texas.

That is something I would love to find to do here…good for all that ails me.
