it finally sank in that what we do with passion is not necessarily what makes the day to day money we have to have to live on.
Here are cheers to all of those people that I stared blankly at when they said I could do it all…nothing was holding me back but my mindset. :)

Brainstorming problems with creative people who are supportive of your dreams is a wonderful experience!
One of my biggest problems has been finding a location that would be beneficial for the most children (i.e. within walking distance of a school, etc.)especially here in the wilderness where the children in the Valley are spread out in a 60 mile radius and most are bused to school.
The more I talked about my passion for this the more ideas came pouring out in our session…it is amazing to me that I have been stumped for years but the solutions seem so logical!
Time to write those grants and find funding! :)

this is next on my list to achieve! It is part of my “Caring for God’s Creation” ministry but my instincts tell me to keep it as a for profit business so God can lead me to achieve it as the vision that it is. If that makes sense.
This whole gardening, cooking studio program for children gets much more support from people than anything else I have talked about the past 5 years.
It has taken a long time for me to make this commitment even though it has been on my 43T life list since the beginning.
All things happen in God’s time not ours.

I went to a meeting of small business people yesterday that was put on by the Department of Economic Development. It was very interesting.
There were so many different businesses. One of the exercises was to Dream Big….then share that dream with 3 people. Mine was the Children’s Cooking Studio and everyone I told that was very encouraging about how cool that is.
Now this Dream actually has nothing to do with the business I am starting right now. Go figure.

Would you send your child to a cooking school named Cheznanigans or Spice Girls Cooking school or Garden of Hope. ?
This is an unofficial market survey. ;)

culinary arts studio. I have the idea and the dream just no credit or finacial backing. However, that is not going to stop this from becoming a reality!
Where there is a will there is a way!

told me this morning she is sponsoring cooking classes with a local woman who has a lunch shop in the mall. I can be in on the beginning planning sessions if I want to to include children’s classes.
Hmmm…wonder where she got this idea?

this past weekend I found the most darling pink kitchen appliances and cookware made by Kitchen-Aid to support the cure for breast cancer. It is one of their specialty shops.
I decided then that I will have pink and turqouise kitchens (like in the 50’s) for my cooking school…
we will “support the cure” in every way we can. :)
