Establish a Creativity Camp for At Risk Children and Teens

12 years from the time of his conversion to begin his ministry. All things happen in their time…some quickly and some take more preparation. It is time for me to begin this journey with a giant leap of faith.

When I had this calling as a child I thought I didn’t have the knowledge, contacts or ability to help others in this manner. I went on to live a full life raising sons and working in the corporate world until one day I was struck down with a seizure caused by a benign brain tumor.

My life changed and it has been years of repositioning my goals and callings. As adults the world tells us who(what) we are to be…Seems we know as children who we truly are…

what or who may spark the flame on a project. This morning I am Iming an acquaintance/client here in the wilderness. We are talking about getting her a home.

We wandered off track for a few minutes and she said if she could do anything she would have a sanctuary for animals (animal rescue). I told her I’d love to have a sanctuary for at risk children…she suggested we form a non-profit and combine the two.

Divine connections?

When I was a teenager I was going to be a world reknown child advocate with a home/school for troubled kids.

I went on to marry and raise my sons but childrens’ well being have always been a passion as you can see by my goals on 43 T.

Last night, as I was sitting home alone, I had the idea out of the blue to watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I hadn’t thought of that movie in years but the urge was so strong I found it on Google videos and started watching it.

I was about to turn it off when all of a sudden the scene where Jimmy Stewart starts writing his bill for the National Boys camp began…

I was dumbfounded! The more I watched the more I knew this was a direction from God or the Universe that I am doing what I am supposed to have always done.
