Keep praying for and supporting my sister

I have to say again (can’t say it enough actually) I’m so thankful I have the extra day off each week. My sister is doing better, I have to say that the past two weeks have been amazing for improvement. We had such wonderful conversations this weekend and laughed so hard. We stayed up until around 5 Friday night (Sat. morning actually) playing bingo and being nerds and laughing at the silliest stuff! I’m so proud of her and still inspired and amazed at her strength and courage. I’m so very blessed. And so thankful she is improving and have faith she will continue to improve and be back to 100% soon.

We had a great weekend! She is still not 100% but she had a pretty good last couple of days. We went to the book/cd store and she found a cool book and they were having a 50% off sale on all cds and she bought me the new Shinedown cd I’ve been wanting! She insisted on paying for it. She is so sweet. We laughed, piged out on some pizza, played several hands of different card games. It was such a great time.

THEN today she wanted to go to this antique store we visit sometimes and I found out that last year around my bday she was trying to get an item there priced. She called and talked to several people at the store, they did not have it priced by my bday so she focused on getting it for me for Christmas, anyway it was not working out and finally it was priced and today she bought it for me. She tried to save it until July (for my bday), but she had been waiting almost a year so she wanted me to have it tonight! It is the MOST perfect gift EVER. She sooooo knows me! I have to take pics and post them soon.
It’s an old (early 1900s) post card album with 32 post cards in it. The post cards are almost perfect, so bright and well kept. They are so beautiful. Most are dated 1910 and 1914. It’s THE perfect gift for me, I LOVE IT! I told her she doesn’t ever have to get me anything again. :-)

I’m so lucky…so blessed….so thankful.

My sister is more than just a sister she is my best friend, always has been always will be. She needs me now more than ever and I intend to keep being there for her and praying for her every spare moment I have.
