Considering that
a) I haven’t written an entry in 3 months, and
b) I managed to finish my practicum and my degree
I am going to consider this one finished!
Of course, my place is still a mess and I really do need to clean up several piles of paper and other stuff… but whatever, I can add those things to my to do list

back to the original one “be more organized”.
Practicum is going ok so far, but I’m only teaching one subject to one grade and I still have zero free time. Organization is definitely a problem.
I’m supposed to start teaching more subjects soon and I have no idea how I’ll cope with that. I guess I’ll have to do more ‘by the book teaching’. Planning outdoor science activities, projects and all that is too time-consuming to do all the time.
Procrastination is another problem I have :-(

I went from over 430 messages in my inbox to 199… then I got bored.
Unfortunately that’s only my newest email address. The older one has 1771 messages in the inbox (sigh).
The flip side of the coin is that even though I organized something, I was really just procrastinating because I don’t want to write this essay. Dang it.

- hah! Who am I kidding with this goal. I am not organized! Not even a little bit.
OK, just finished the first week of a new term.
I am going to get all my assignments and their due dates written up on my calendar.
Then I am going to hunt around for some group members for whichever things are group projects.
And finally I am going to make a list of all the readings I need to do for each week and start on some of them.

A whole month has gone by and I still haven’t organized my closet.
Well, I have today off, and I don’t seem very motivated to do anything fun with myself so I might as well get started on this!
Even a little progress would get the ball rolling.

and only 1 day off this weekend.
I think my first priority will be all the basics to get ready for my next work week. Laundry, cleaning shoes, cleaning out handbags, etc.
Next, shopping for stuff that I’ll easily be able to pack for lunch (make a list in advance).
I also want to organize my closet, or at least make a little more progress on it. There are some shopping bags which have collected clutter, and are still in my closet since last August!!!
Then if I have any energy or time left I will look into organizing some of my boyfriend’s old stuff.
I also would like to post some photos online (from the past 2 years). And it would be nice to have time to meet a friend for coffee, but considering it’s almost noon already – that’s probably not going to happen.

1)Wake up early, check my email and see if an Education program advisor has responded to my email about visiting in person later that day.
2)Go to VCC and get my tutoring notices approved by the student’s society, then post them at the college. Need to bring 2 more notices, at least.
3)Pick up the money my friend owes me.
4) Do my French homework before class that night.
Tuesday:
1) Go to college to sell my textbook.
2) Appointment with course advisor at 2pm
3) If I find out that I do need to take another course or two, register for them right away via Distance Education.

Once again, I have TOO many things to do!
Well – to be honest, it’s probably not really too many things to do, but several things, all of which a) are not fun, b) take a long time and c) require my undivided attention.
Forget about applying for jobs – that’s a whole ‘nother thing to do (which fits all the criteria above, but is currently on the backburner – again).
And for some reason, all these people are wanting to meet me in the next 2 weeks (not for fun, casual hanging out – that would be nice!), and asking about my “schedule” – I have no idea, people!!! I don’t keep a “schedule” – I hate schedules!
And my doctor’s office was supposed to phone me about an appointment time at the hospital, and of all the days in the month of December when I have free time, she books me in for Thursday morning before my French final exam, and get this! the appointment is at 7:30 am. Grrrrrrar! But I can’t phone and ask her to change it because my doctor and everyone who works for him hates me, and she would surely just find an even worse time for an appointment – like 1:30am Dec 25 or something.
Stressy stressy stress stress!
Well, I guess I’d better go make it look like I’m getting something done…

Organize my hair.
I got a not very good cut last month. Well, sometimes the cut looks OK, if I put a lot of product in it and fuss with it for a hour. But if it’s rainy it ends up looking like a haystack (and in Vancouver it’s rainy or about to become rainy about 10 months of the year).
Other problem is – my hair has 2 different degrees of curliness. 80% of my hair is wavy curly, 20% of my hair is sometimes tight-spiral-curly (and the rest of the time very voluminous and frizzy).
So – today I am going to try something new. I’m going to get a very loose wavy perm on the freaky spiral curly sections – hopefully it will blend better with the rest of my hair.
The goal is to look more polished, less frizzy.
Wish me luck!
