find a church

A friend of mine has a degree in Youth Ministries so I was really interested in what church she goes to. I had the opportunity to ask her tonight and I’m going to go on Sunday. I’m excited about it because I think it might be a good fit.

We went to a Lutheran church last Sunday. I was raised Lutheran (sort of) and felt pretty comfortable with the idea. The service my husband and I went to was pretty contemporary and we liked that. What we didn’t like was that the congregation was extremely small and there were hardly any couples our age. We’re looking for a community to belong to to not only strengthen our faith, but also to make quality, lifelong friends. So we’re going to keep trying until we find a place we fit.
