The last few months I’ve had about the length of a century spread out for the week when cycling to work and back home. While I’m still interested in riding such a distance in one long sweep, I’m not so sure my knees will agree with me – probably because my cycling technique isn’t optimal. They were getting increasingly strained on the heavier weeks, and I’m sure a few hard uphills after some dozens of miles would be murder for them.

Too bad we don’t have any races like that over here, but I’d be very interested in cycling the equivalent of a hundred miles – or even better, just put it at 200 kilo. ;)
The trips I’ve cycled have lengthened even as the speed meter shows that I’m moving faster. It’s still a long, long way from a goal like this, but I can see it working out in the future. The winter is going to hamper my cycling pretty much totally, but next spring will come with a new goal in mind.
