have a real concert

In addition to (hopefully) doing a number of open mikes in the next couple months, I’m going to try and do a concert with a musician friend of mine before I leave town at the end of August. It’s probably going to be a fairly small deal, but it won’t be an open mike, and we might even get paid, so it’s real enough for me.

I’m going to try to work up to this by hitting up a few local open mikes for a while first. A couple friends and I have some sets worked out and a few spots in mind, so we’ll see how it goes.
