a few possibilities seem to be moving ahead. our local coffee shop has agreed to carry some of our vegan cakes, we just started an occasional contract job as body painters, and a friend who works at a salon says they need massage therapists who can take a shift or two per week. also, i’m starting to make a collection of large-gauge earrings that i want to sell.
only thing that’s not going so well at the moment is the article i submitted to llewellyn. they haven’t gotten back to me, and i’m frustrated that they don’t even send rejection form letters so i’ll never really know. but hey, at least i finally did it.

it’s funny that sometimes we make more money on vacation. one thing we do is massage therapy and during our recent round of festivals and visits we found a number of one time clients—which works out great if you’re travelling, but not so well if you keep needing to draw from the same pool.
i have a couple of new ideas. i want to submit writing and illustration samples to llewellyn ‘cause i think i could make some pagan schlock.

the hardest thing for me is self-promotion. i need to make some business cards and posters about the things i can do and start distributing them. i also need a website.
