surround myself with good and peaceful people

Although I know it’s a life long practice. Setting this goal reminded me of my capabilities. I am sure this goal will be reinstated later. I am done for now.

A friend from church recently moved. She invited a few people over to celebrate her new space. I had such a good time. We talked about love and life and our fears. It felt great to be with adults who weren’t afraid to go there. Especially in person. I can’t wait to have a gathering in my own space with genuinely warm people. Hey, it could happen.

I am so busy carting the kids off somewhere or helping my husband that I have not taken enough time to pursue my interest. I know that the people I want in my life are doing the things that I love to do. Is’nt that how life works? I would like to hope so.

If I am going to surround myself with good and peaceful people, I must first be a good and peaceful person. Here we are at step one. I am working on my disposition. Consider me a WIP job (work in progress). Time will show as my new friendships begin to manifest.
