I go an illustrated tarot journal at a new age store while on vacation. I used the card of the day app on my phone, and did the page on the card.
Four of pentacles.
About materialism, home, control, possessiveness and stagnation.
I used my tarot book and an online resource to gather information.
I also made note of other cards that reinforce and oppose the meaning of the card in readings, for easier application.
I think I can commit to spending half an hour a day a few times a week with a card.

I can’t focus the amount of energy I’d like to this, but I did look at my app today, and the card of the day is the kinght of swords.
I believe this is the significator for my boyfriend. Filing this away for future reference.

There’s an app for Android (and likely other iPhone, etc.) that I’ve found helpful in the last week or so. It has a card of the day feature that shows the picture with meaning and interpretation. A good way to familiarize yourself with the deck.
It also does ‘readings’ and shows cards in layouts, but this isn’t for me. I prefer touching the cards, shuffling them, and giving them my energy for a personalized reading. Anyway, just thought you should know there’s an app for that.

I have all the supplies and resources I should need for this task.
Tarot deck ,detailed book, descriptions, and more. I discovered an interesting website http://tarotreader.ning.com/ , which I just joined. I seemed like another good resource, but unfortunately doesn’t appear to have too many active members.
I thought I would put it up here so that people with similar goals and interest could use it and possible so I could find someone to interact with as I try to get back into reading tarot.
