The next item on the chopping block is a Speakeasy Vintage Preamp. I’m always amazed when I make the decision and effort to list a piece of music gear how great I feel. It makes me wonder why I didn’t do it sooner. Not because I don’t appreciate the thing, but because having fewer items is almost always better for me.

This was a beauty Rhodes—perfectly tuned and adjusted. It went to a good home (thanks for taking it over, Melissa). I’m thrilled it went to someone who will appreciate it and that I’ve also managed to clear out another instrument so I can focus on other musical endeavors.
I put 9 pictures on Flickr as it’s best described in pictures. The greatest part about this Rhodes is it’s been overhauled by David Ell one of the prominent Rhodes technicians living today.
In addition, I’d love to sell off the entire tour rig that supports this rhodes. Namely …- road case for Rhodes
- effects pedals (delay, tremolo, phaser)
- Quiklok stand
- rhodes sustain pedal and rod
- road case for holding effects, stand, sustain pedal and cords
Here I go again … selling off another round of excess music gear. Use it or lose it. Out with the old, in with the new. Let go, let God.
First item on the ebay chopping block is my Nord Electro 2 w/ a nice hard case. Next up, I’m selling off another Fender Rhodes.
I am so happy to be rid of my excess music gear. I feel like I have a new lease on life. A few more bucks to put into maintenance of existing gear and finish out the basement remodel.
I suckered Thaddeus into buying my rhodes for $400 last night. Hey—that’s about $300 under market. I think I got screwed!
I sold my spare rhodes tremolo rail on eBay today. $214. Sweet.
I’ll be handing off the Leslie speaker to Eric Goetz tonight at 7pm. It’s a great rig, but I’ll be happy to have one less piece of gear for which to care. Also, Erik should really enjoy this Leslie. It’s sweet.
Okay, people. I’ve got the Fender Rhodes on Craigstlist and the Rhodes tremolo rail on ebay. Next up—get rid of the Leslie. Oh, I can hardly wait to have more stuff out of my house!
I went ahead and had Ben Noma (rhodes technician) adjust the sustain on this rhodes, so it’s ready to sell. Any offers? Or, just tell your friends that I’m selling a rhodes. I’ll likely add it to Craigslist tonight.
