I was in a French study-group at school for 6 months during the 7th grade. However, I wasn’t particularly fond of the language at that time (interested, sure, but not fond) and another study-group I was very interested in started the following year, hence I switched groups (unfortunately, the French study-group never came about again).
I’m more interested in French now, though I can’t tell whether it’s because I’m more or less through with learning English and just need a new challenge or because my views on the language itself have changed due to my increase in knowledge (and the resulting change of my point of view of the world) over the years.
Anyway, French is a lovely and soft language that sounds really charming and which I’d love to speak!
