Update 1 month ago

Alright, this goal is soon to be, well, not exactly finished, but one year will be over as of 6th December. So, I still got a few weeks left, but to summarize it:

- live happily in London, England
Won’t happen before mid-February (if I have passed the exam that is)

- work at my “job that doesn’t feel like a job”
Same as above (unless “Plan B” comes into effect)

- make a living in the job mentioned above
I wish…

- find myself a boyfriend (or, even better, be found)
Hm, yeah, well, I found someone with whom I have fallen in love with, but he is no longer available.

- lose 15 kg
I’m still at it, and have, thus far, lost 9kg (currently weighing 63kg).

All in all, I finished 1 1/2 goals (losing weight will be accomplished soon and the other half – at least I’ve fallen in love – it’s a start, isn’t it?)

But, I’ll keep going until I can tick off every single one of ‘em!

Diet 2 months ago

Hi all,
don’t know what actually happened to my last diet – I think I just ate normally again and kept my weight constant at 72kg. But, since I have wanted to become more skinny, I started another diet on 1st September. I’m still on it and, so far, I have lost 7kg and am currently at 65kg ^^ -> is very proud of herself. I plan to continue until I have reached my ideal weight at 58kg (I’m 1.68metres).

Still working on it... 10 months ago

Alright, first interim result. I was too curious, whether I’m actually losing weight or not, and decided to weigh myself about an hour ago ANDdrum-roll I did lose some weight, but only 1.5kg xD I have to admit that I strayed from my path for 3 days and ate some bred in the evening; but I think it’s legitimate to eat more when you’re physically hard working for 9 hours.

Anyway, I’ll continue my diet and report back every two weeks. As I got a foible for lists, I’ll write down my way to look staggering ^^

My progress:

74kg – Start
72.5kg – 12 February
71kg – 11 March

I'm working on it... 10 months ago

Okay, first update on this goal. I’m currently on a diet to get rid of those 15kg. It consists of:

  • eating lunch (just a normal plate full – no fast food)
  • a yoghurt (after lunch as dessert – 200g)
  • two cups of milk (0.2 litre cups)
  • and two apples for supper
  • plus lots and lots and lots of mineral water (as much as I like)

That’s been my diet for a week now. I’m feeling great, and I don’t have any desire whatsoever to eat anything else in addition. I don’t eat/drink all of those things every day. Sometimes, I just skip my second cup of milk or my yoghurt or my apple. It’s just to have an upper limit.

My target is to keep going until the end of February and then I’ll weigh myself – to see how I’m doing. Otherwise I’d become too unpatient (if I weighed myself every two days or so) and just stop.

However, the great thing about this goal is that I’m basically not doing anything (except to keep an eye on my “eating plan”). It’s a goal which you can achieve the easiest by doing anything else but thinking about it.

Hold fast to dreams that fly 12 months ago

Okay, I think this is THE oldest goal on my list, meaning it’s been there since I opened my account on 43Things. It came true the first year after I put it on the list, but it’s still of topical interest to me, hence I haven’t ticked it off yet. Therefore, I officially declare this target open (6 Dec 2008).
Now, what do I want to achieve? By this time next year, I want to:

- live happily in London, England
- work at my “job that doesn’t feel like a job”
- make a living in the job mentioned above
- find myself a boyfriend (or, even better, be found)
- lose 15 kg

That’s it. Just 5 sweet little goals which will take a lot of effort to achieve – but otherwise it would be boring, wouldn’t it?
I’ll write again and let you know what’s happened during the year ;)
