This goes hand in hand with my goal to lose some weight and get in better shape. Eating takeout or premade food is not healthy nor does it taste as good. It takes less time, yes, but that doesn’t necerssarily mean it’s better.
All the women in my family are great cooks. Except for me. My Mum is a wonderful cook and she can do really delicious meals which are still not fatty, but really healthy and good. I want to be able to do that!
So once I’m home again, I’ll have her teach me how to cook. I want to cook at least twice a week for a start.
And while I’m still here, I will try to cook at least once a week. I will look up good, healthy recipes online and try them. Any suggestions are very welcome!
