Uprights rock!

I already play the electric bass semi-professionally, but I have always wanted to learn upright bass. I’ve goofed around on a few before but I don’t really know how to play. The theory is the same but the technique is totally different. I also don’t have an upright, which makes it that much more difficult to learn. From what I understand, it’s really not worth getting one if you’re not going to spend at least $2k. I’m waaay too busy right now to really make this goal a priority, but it will stay on my list nonetheless.
