I know I've not 'completed' this... 2 years ago

...but I’m going to mark it as done anyway.

I feel I’m so close that the few things I’ve got left to do can just sit on my todo list. (It’s really just stuff like make a new will, organise regular backups for the PC and go see a dentist for a checkup)

If I drop down again, I may reopen this goal.. but for now I feel like I’ve gotten the value I wanted out of this.

Stuck at 96/100... 2 years ago

Those last four are proving very difficult to tick off…

I’m pretty happy about google gadget I made though. If you do use google personalised homepage, you can add the betterme gadget by clicking on this button.

Dave’s sooper-dooper betterme gadget (tracks your progress.. really just a pre-populated todo list of betterme tasks)

DISCLAIMER: It stores which options you’ve ticked with google. So in theory, a member of google staff could figure out exactly what you’ve ticked or not. It would take some working out though…

If you use Google's personalised page... 3 years ago

...then this might be of interest to you:

http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&url=http://davebeer.googlepages.com/betterme.xml&synd=ig

What it is, is a gadget that saves your cleansweep progress. (I was bored)

If anyone uses it, can you let me know how you get on?

Just go to the link, click on the ‘Add it now’ button, and it should appear on your personalised homepage. You can edit it (to personalise it with your name) and start checking the different points off.

It should save your progress so no matter when you load it up – it shows you how you are doing.

It's been an interesting couple of months... 3 years ago

..but it looks like I’m not too far away from acheiving this… Although I’m sure the Pareto principle will come into play here.

Physical: 23
Well being: 22
Money: 23
Relationships: 23

That leaves 9 points to focus on (as well as not forgetting to backslide on the others).

This is giving me a real boost. Even if I don’t get much further, I think it’s been a worthwhile investment in time.

I'm not sure I actually want to get to 100% 3 years ago

One of the questions is:
I rarely drink alcohol. (Less than 2 drinks per week)

Now, I’ve gone a few weeks without alchohol (occasionally)... but I do love my wine… Perhaps I’m misinterpreting the question, but if it means only two glasses in a week, bugger that!

A glass of wine with a meal is one of the few vices (pleasures) I have… and one that I really don’t want to give up…

That said, the rest make a fair amount of sense, so it’s still a worthy goal. (Not giving up yet…)

62 at the start. 3 years ago

Off the bat I feel I’m doing okay. I’m let down in relationships and physical environment the most. (they seem to have affected each other I think)

So I’ve got quite a few things I can concentrate on.

Physical: 14
Well being: 16
Money: 18
Relationships: 14
