I’ve reduced my cola intake to once a day, roughly equivalent to 18 ounces rather than 72 ounces; I’ve been running six miles a day for the past three days; and this afternoon I completed 100 push-ups and 101 sit-ups, but guess what? My weight is up!
And it ain’t muscle mass!

I am STILL at 13 stone 5 pounds.
I reduced my Coca Cola intake to a fraction of my usual daily consumption last week, but lost nothing. Not much physical exercise last week, however. I am going to try to reduce my cola / sugary beverage consumption for the next week or so and see if there’s an impact.
I’ve seen photos of myself from the last week. So, uh… yeah.

I’ve had a cold, I’ve been loafing. They call it loafing because you end up with a body consistency approximating that of a very dense, doughy bread. Very dense.

I currently weigh the most I ever have in my life: 13 stone 8 pounds.
Too many sugary fizzy drinks, not enough exercise.

I need to get a little bit more serious about this. I think I should:
1. Reduce my soda pop/sugary drink intake.
2. Reduce considerably my ingestion of cheese.
3. Virtually eliminate deep fried stuff (Chicken Selects) at McD’s.
4. Consume more “low caloric density” foods (carrots, celery)
I can try this for a week, huh? Sitting here, overly-full after a tasty Mexican restaurant meal, too full of refried beans, fried rice, and cheese enchiladas and chips to even move, a diet of celery and water (with a hint of lemon) sounds quite appealing. I think I’ll give it a try. Caffeine-withdrawal headache, here I come!

I don’t get it. Sit-ups daily. Running, occasionally. Yet, I’m getting fatter by the day! Up about seven pounds… I mean half a stone… over the last two weeks. Most (all) of it at waist level.
Maybe I have some gargantuan tumor or something.
I see I’ve had this goal for 30 weeks now, with nothing, other than “negative progress,” to show for it. Not good. Not good at all.
