I’ve been bored with the computer recently. This may stem from being bed ridden (total bad spelling) and having an acute desire to be out of the house. I think that the intense headache also helped. The seperation was a positive one though since I realized that life can go on away from the computer screen.

Since school has started I haven’t had as much time to fool around on the computer. I have been getting a lot more work done but of course there has been a lot more work to do. Even though I have been adhering to this goal, it has not been because of an ability to control myself or my actions and I know that whenever school is not in session I am not able to budget my time with this.
Maybe that’s the point. Maybe I’m allowed to goof off when school isn’t in because I don’t have as much work to do. Is the key to knowing whether or not you are spending too much time on the computer whether or not you are doing what you need to do? I’ll try to not be too hard on myself!
I kinda just did this for the week but I was on vacation so I’m not going to count it. I think that as long as I limit myself to not “fooling around” on the net for more than 30-60 minutes a day would be a huge improvement!
I am going to set a goal to only use the computer to check my email and do my work for one week. I’ve been way too addicted to several internet sites lately and I’ve been spending all of my time doing that rather than actually doing any of my other things that I needed to do. I’m not sure when this week will begin- maybe next week?
