The older kids didn’t eat it….T kept asking what the green stuff was (bell peppers), what’s this? (beans) etc.
I bet if I’d wrap it in a tortilla and dump some cheese on it, I’d have more luck.
I’ll try with the leftovers.

I added cracker crumbs, onions, parsley, garlic, an egg, worchestershire, soy, all kinds of crap, lol.
A few spinach leaves and some tomato slices and a bit of mayo, good wheat bread. Olives and grapes on the side.
Easy, yummy, semi-healthy.
I ate alone, but cooked all the ground turkey and saved the other burgers for the wee ones for tomorrow.
Spaghetti squash mixed with a sour cream, spinach, onion, garlic, mushroom mixture, topped with bread cubes (I didn’t have bread cubes so subbed french fried onions) and parmesan and baked until browned.
Pretty tasty. 3 out of 5 toddlers liked it. :)
soy, ginger, brown sugar marinated pork chops with apple cinnamon rice.
Leftover rice for breakfast.
I made a huge pot of lentil soup. Again, nothing fancy…easy, basic, healthy and cost effective. :) Also, it will last a while.
Must cook the pork chops tonight!!
breaded pork chops with mushroom gravy/sauce
Something I’ve made several times. It’s a big hit here. My son and J love it but baby girl is not much of a meat eater. She did eat a TON of mashed potatoes though. :)
I’ve got a recipes for a marinade to prepare the rest of the chops tonight…
I baked the acorn squash with some tart apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, etc.
Pretty tasty, basic…I smooshed some up with a bit of milk and gave it to the babies…they loved it.
but my stupid blender broke this morning.
I thought it’d be convenient to purchase the single serving sized one last time, not so.
I used it last night for my son and I and smelled the motor getting hot!
This morning I went to make my coffee smoothie (only day two of this wonderful discovery) and it doesn’t work.
How will I ever make it through the day?
over the weekend a huge pot of chili.
Tonight I made a really simple but tasty ground beef casserole with the leftover chili meat that I will feed to the children tomorrow.
I’m going for efficiency these days.
I’d like to make the bread tomorrow.
for lunch for the children I made franks and beans that is, beanie weenies. Not sure I’d ever prepared this but they sure loved it.
beans, brown sugar, mustard, sauted onions, hot dogs.
gross.
