I’ve so much stuff to do today. I collected a goodly number of supplies to get my new curriculum plan going.
This house is so full of stuff with the childcare it is very difficult to maneuver and stay organized. Just about every weekend it looks like a tornado and on sundays I get it organized but still very full and maze like.
I think I need more room, or to downsize stuff…I already removed a ton of toys and simplified the play rooms a few weeks ago but with the addition of the desk and dining table…
I should in fact, be cleaning right now while the babies are asleep. I have to get a sofa today too since the other one sold.

five bags of clothing and shoes to donate in my van, out of my closet. I still have a ways to go but I can see carpet now.
I’m going to wait until the closet is presentable to have my son go into the attic and bring down my pre-pregnancy clothing so I can sort through that stuff.
It only took me 20 minutes or so to get that amount of progress so that was encouraging. I feel more inclined to take a few moments when I can rather than seeing it as such an overwhelming project that I don’t want to even get started.

His stuff is out of my closet now no more excuses not to organize it.
Oh dear me.
I’m going to throw TONS of stuff away. I have too many crappy clothes that I hold on to for unknown reasons.

sweet, sweet order.
coat closet done
tupperware cabinet done
laundry room done
Now I have the daunting task of my closet but I’m really waiting to get my clothes down from the attic and see what fits etc to move forward with organizing my clothing. Figure out what fits and what I still like and (if I’ve purchased a car by then) do a little shopping and start forth with a new after baby look. yippie!
I also would like to wait until he gets the huge pool table frame out of there so I can move about properly.
I organized the kids’ art shelf/center Friday on a whim, it was getting quite crazy.
The bathroom closet is crazy too but it will consist mostly of throwing stuff away. Three huge baskets of products for someone who barely has time to even shower. Really? I will tone it down to very few essential and lovely products and maybe use the extra shelving for the babies’ diapers and such?? Not quite sure but it never takes long to fill closets and shelving does it?

was the first time I was able to really clean at nap time like before the baby was born.
It felt good to work hard. Really good.
The only way this is accomplished is by letting the baby sleep on his tummy.
It isn’t recommended but it’s the only way he will sleep for longer than an hour, if that, unless I am holding him. I just do it during the day when I am able to keep a good eye on him.
15 years ago when my son was an infant it was recommended to put infants on their tummies to sleep, now they say it increases the risk of SIDS.

My ex stayed here last night after I used his car to pick up my son.
I woke up to a spotless laundry room.
Cool.
I need to also add the front coat closet to this list. It’s where the children’s cubbies and nap mats and blankets are kept and it is extremely messy…

is in disarray. Everywhere I look is mess and clutter. It stresses me to live this way.
It is coming together little by little. I can barely keep up with the day to day stuff right now.
I try very hard not to stress on it. I’ll get back to my regular self soon.
The important thing is that I spend time with the kids now.
My son has promised to help me a lot this weekend. He’s got 4 days off school for fall break.

bit accomplished this weekend with my son’s help, bless his heart. Furniture moved and some clutter removed.
His report card wasn’t as good as he’d promised and he wants to go to a concert in a few weeks so it makes it much easier to get him to help.

have my son help me this weekend.
The mess and clutter that I cannot get to is frustrating me to no end. If I weren’t tethered with the baby I’d bust it out in a day or two.
Besides, that’s what teenage boys are for, right?
