New speedier commute and replacing coffee with orange juice seem to have helped quite a bit. Still wouldn’t exactly describe myself as a morning person, but definitely a bit better.

I’ve been making unprecedented efforts to get to bed earlier – has definitely helped make getting up a bit easier. And I’ve been having less coffee, too – just one cup a day rather than hundreds of lattes, and plent of fruit juice instead. Not sure how long I’ll keep it up for, but I’m feeling virtuous…



First day back at work 3 years ago

So, despite having moved on to Student Time over the holidays, going to bed at 3am and getting up at lunchtime, I made it back in to work for 8.30 this morning. Suffering for it tonight, though. Yawn...

I seem to have switched from GMT to New York time over the holidays. Bed in the middle of the night, and then up a bit before lunchtime. Not looking forward to having to get up early for work next week…

Not known for being a good morning person. Combining early nights with some kind of early rising should sort that out.
