Number 63 to 73

63. GOOD friends.

64. Having a friend that cares to ask me out for a good chat.

65. Laughter- but also, sharing heartaches and troubles and burdens.

66. Discovering new places in my city, and realizing what a wonderfully creative and resourceful place I live in.

67. Trying new treats (macarons last week!).

68. Freshly laundered blankets.

69. Making loved ones feel happy/loved/appreciated.

70. Getting to buy a fresh new Moleskine for the new year!

71. Spending all day watching movies and marathons on television.

72. The true meaning of Christ mas.

73. MAKING A NEW NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION LIST! (And laughing that every year, you swear you “mean it this time!”)

Number 51 to 62

51. My curtain-rod-turned-art-hanging-display that instantly makes me feel like an artist.

52. The view of the farm from my window. I’m so lucky.

53. The UPS truck, especially when I know it’s for me!

54. Dawn.

55. Dusk.

56. Sprouted flourless bread.

57. Pita bread.

58. Almond butter (forget peanut butter!)

59. Avocado (forget butter!)

60. Fresh vegetable juice.

61. Medicine.

62. Looking up at the sky. It’s a dynamic, ever-changing masterpiece – and I know who’s painting it!

Number 40 to 50

40. Quiet time with me and my BFF.

41. Waking up naturally, before or with the sun as it rises.

42. Savasana after a long day or intense class. That floaty feeling as your mind and body drift off.

43. Those rare moments when people are stripped away of their pride and defenses. When they show that they care, when they speak from the heart.

44. The comfort and excitement of knowing there are people- living out there in the world this very moment- that you will get to meet and connect with in the future. Even more exciting thinking of people who do not yet exist.

45. Chilly winter air.

46. Being able to literally plug the world out temporarily, with headphones and some music.

47. Chado.

48. The knowledge that __(time) from now I will be finished ___(task). (The knowledge that 1 week from now, I will have completed 5 projects and 2 courses).

49. Creamy, spreadable, smooth hummus.

50. Stepping back and realizing: “it actually looks good!” (Applicable to various situations.)

Number 31 to 39

31. Organic peanut butter on warm toast (the grain ones, with lots of yummy chew!) with warm milk.

32. Cheese & fruit. Nuts & fruit. Cheese & crackers. Cheese & cheese.

34. Homemade trail mix out of a pretty bowl. I just had some almonds, sunflower seeds, oats, grain cereal, and raisins.

35. Larabars! (Though it doesn’t make me happy thinking of how habit-forming and costly they are).

36. Snacking. Can you tell that I snack like it’s my job? :)

37. I love it when I wake up in the mood for a biggg bowl of hot oatmeal. Multiply happiness by 10 when it’s raining because oatmeal is ultra comforting.

38. The anticipation of my first Whole Foods trip that I’m planning for next week!!!

39. That even after my trail mix, I still have an appetite for lunch because of this post :)

Number 26 to 30

26. Empty, quiet museums.

27. Lazy Sunday afternoons after church.

28. Yoga. No explanation needed.

29. Seeing and making others smile.

30. Going somewhere alone. I never realized how empowering it felt until recently, when I the gained courage to venture out into my city’s streets alone. It’s so enlightening. You really get to notice the little details that make life beautiful. As much as I love my friends and family, a simple walk just with yourself lets you realize all the things you’ve been missing.

Number 21 to 25

21. Realizing there is no such thing as a coincidence.
22. Just thinking of the holidays! I won’t list all the things about holidays that make me happy just yet, I’m saving them for later!
23. Ohhh, I can’t resist, I’ll just say one for now. Wrapping paper. I love wrapping paper.
24. Highlighters (they make me feel systematic and full of purpose).
25. Making lists :)

Number 17 to 20

17. Going to bed excited because you know what you’re having for breakfast the next morning (I’m having Nutella tomorrow! :D)

18. Going to the Haagen Dazs website just now and realizing they make COFFEE frozen yogurt :0

19. The feeling after I take a shower, how warm and fuzzy I feel, especially when it’s snowing outside.

20. Dancing by myself, alone in my room. Just because I want to. And because I realize happiness doesn’t always come in twos.

Number 11 to 16

11. My mood improving after a good cry.

12. Getting hooked onto an amazing new tv show.

13. Dreaming during the night, remembering it the morning, and applying it in real life.

14. My family, when I can truely appreciate them.

15. Early Christmas anticipation.

16. Childhood memories.

Number 6 to 10

6. When I fall in love with a new song, and can play it over and over again for the next few days.

7. Small compliments- they make a world of a difference.

8. Seeing my friends, especially every morning. This year I was lucky enough to have my first period class with a couple of my closest friends. Even when I’m having a bad morning, I go to school faking a smile on my face, and 5 minutes later, I don’t need to fake!

9. Waking up and realizing (or deciding) that you don’t have to get up that day.

10. Dark chocolate, and dessert.

Number 1 to 5

In no particular order!

1. My pets. They bring so much joy in my life. Even with divorced parents, they still somehow bond the family in some ways. No words to describe how I love them!

2. Postsecret sundays. I have so many secrets, and Postsecret always reminds me that I’m not alone.

3. New school and art supplies. My art seems to get better everytime I get new materials, and going to school is much more fun with new supplies. My small, personal motivators.

4. The sound of rain (I’m a recent convert!). It was pouring about half an hour ago. It was absolutely zen… the sound of the raindrops were so soothing. It also makes me thankful that I live in such a great place without floods or disasters.

5. Reading. It’s a personal quiet time for me, when I get to clear all my thoughts. I would say it’s almost meditative.
