I had a 6 month checkup last week, and it was the first dentist appointment I’ve had in years where there were no new problems. All my dental work has been done and the X-rays were good! If my next 6 month comes back clear, I will mark this goal as finished.

I had a bunch of dental work done yesterday – a root canal and four fillings. The dentist couldn’t completely finish the root canal because I was informed the infection on that tooth has gone past the tooth and into the bone…so I am taking antibiotics for the next two weeks and will go back. If the infection is gone they can finish it. I have needed this work done for a few years and finally am getting it over with! I was never in any pain so I just kept putting it off. (Don’t do that!) The good news is that when I had a cleaning last month I was told there are no new problems and I’m doing a good job keeping my teeth clean, just need to floss more. I’ve been making a more concentrated effort on that and using flouride rinse.
