pay off my credit card

I set a challenge a few months ago to have this done by the end of the year. At the time I knew this would be a challenge but it still seemed in the realm of possibility. Now it’s pretty much impossible…I’ve actually had to use my card more lately and I’m heading in the total wrong direction…stupid plastic!

I finally did it!!! It is huge weight off. Good luck to everyone working on this!

Didn’t quite make this goal by my birthday but I am a lot closer that I was at the beginning of the year. I think that in another month I can be completely done with this so I reissued the challenge to myself!

I have 48 days left to complete this an live up to my challenge. I’m not sure if I’ll make it but I’m getting closer. I took advantage of a balance transfer offer of 0% interest for 1 year and moved as much of my balance over as they let me. The remaining $250 I paid off. I have no balance owed on the cards that will charge me interest at least.

I completely paid off one card this month :-) Now I just have one left. I decided to challenge myself to have this done by my birthday. It will end up being the best present I can give myself if I get it done by then!

I decided that this really needs to be my top goal for this year. I backtracked little with the holidays, but now I’m set to get back on track and finally get this done!

I’ve been really good lately about not adding to the debt I already have, and making real progress towards paying down the debt that is already on my card. If I keep this up I should be done by summer!
