I need to remember how I felt when I was first accepted to medical school. The excitement, the feeling that I was FINALLY getting to do what I wanted to do. I remember feeling priveleged. I remember feeling anxious and itching to start. The thrill of buying books. Flipping through them the first day, thinking I would know all of this material. All of the fascinating things about the human body that I always wanted to know. Then I felt overwhelmed and jaded. Now is my chance. I am vocal about my dreams, it’s time to achieve them by giving it my all.
