Well, here goes. 2 years ago

I’ve decided to go through with this, starting with going to Mass on Sunday morning. It’ll be the first time in such a long time, and I’m both nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous that I’ll be back at the same church I abandoned so long ago, but excited that I’ll finally be able to reconnect with my faith.

Daily Mass may be a ways away, but I’m taking baby steps toward my ultimate goal!

Angst and Agnosticism 2 years ago

I have always been a Catholic, I went to Catholic schools, went to Mass every Sunday morning and on feast days, and was generally a good kid. But, as an adolescent form of social protest, I opted to stop going to church after junior high. I really thought that because my social ideas were different from the church’s, quitting would solve all of my problems.

But for the last year or so, I’ve regretted my decision, and I am no longer comfortable in this Agnostic rut that I’m stuck in. My only problem is that during the course of my protest, I missed being confirmed, and I’ll have to start all over again with the adult education classes. This is something I really want, but I’ve just made it so much harder for myself.
