record something that's making me feel something today

So, I had a work related conversation with a colleague today. He asked how my grandpa was doing. I told him that he was ok, and coping with the loss…”it’s hard since my grandma was his best friend” I said. He asked me to relay a message to my grandpa and he looked at me with the sincerest of eyes. His act of kindness truly touched me and I will never think of him the same.

Part of my job entails interviewing people for jobs. So, I interview with this supervisor today who in the past was critized for being “brutal”. He totally improved! He was so relaxed and personable…it made the candidates feel at ease…and this is key! He inspired me…I want to be more like him…imagine that. :-)

I just found out that my co-worker’s girlfriend died in a car accident last night. I feel so sad for him! This makes me realize how in one quick moment it can all be gone.
