One thing I did was get DVD’s that have both English & Spanish subtitles and audio, and then play the DVD in either English or Spanish with subtitles of the other language. If you do this twice, watching the movie both ways, you learn first how the Spanish words corresponding to what is being said in English are spelled, and then the second time, you learn how these words are pronounced.
As a bonus, you get to understanding more about the movie =)
