has two mat classes a week. I tried one this morning, and the instructor seems to be competent, which is not always the case with Pilates classes in gyms. I’m going to try to get to these classes on a reasonablhy regular basis, seeing as they are included in my gym membership. The gym moves to just around the corner from me later this month, so that will make it even easier.

I managed to do Pilates on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so that was 4 times in between classes. I also did it again today, and I have bought a theraband for stretching.
I might try and do this a few times. I had a lesson yesterday and did about half an hour today, because the weather was so bad I’ve been inside most of the day. I did roll-downs, arm circles, hip rolls, leg drops, pelvic tilts, oysters and abs, followed by hamstring, glute and calf stretches. I have a day off on Friday, so this is one of the things I can do then.
some Pilates at home in between classes seems to be paying off. In this morning’s class I was feeling very pleased with how my ab exercises were going, and the teacher came over and told me they were looking good. Then she told me I could do a variation which increases the difficulty, which I know is really good in one way, but my ab muscles certainly felt it later!
my regular Pilates lesson to Saturday. This seems to work better as I am in a more relaxed frame of mind, and I think I learn more and get better exercise as a result. I’m going to change the weekly reminder I have on this goal arrive sometime mid-week so I get at least one other Pilates session in during the week.
OK, I’m getting some practice in at the weekends now, as well as going to a class during the week. Getting better!

I have been managing to do some mat exercises at home at least once between my weekly classes. I need to keep this up for a while longer, maybe even increase it.
At the moment I go to a studio class once a week, but I don’t practice in between times. I’ve decided I would like to do this, as I’ll improve faster and get more out of the classes. I started on this today by spending a half hour doing various mat exercises.
My next class is Thursday, so I’m hoping to get at least one other exercise session in before the class.
