make a five year plan

Okay, life got so busy, I haven’t been on this site in a year. This is one thing I really want to do, but don’t even know where to start. I can’t even imagine how I want my life to be next week! I would like to have my student loans paid, my HELOC paid, and be working full time as a Nurse Practitioner. I want to be saving money like mad for retirement. I want to take one awesome vacation with my whole family. Just once. I guess I need to think about what I want things to be first. Then plan a way to get there!

I absolutely have no plan for my life. It seems that I just go from one crisis to the next without the slightest idea of how I got there or how to get out. My friend, Glenda, made this great one year financial plan on how she was going to be a home owner, by getting a triplex and she finished ahead of schedule. So, I can’t figure out how I am going to come up with gas money for work tomorrow. So, soon, before the summer is over, I want to sit down and realistically look at where I want to be in one year from now.
