I asked for circulator help today when I was overwhelmed. Good for me!

Firstly, figure out why I want to do it all myself to begin with. I think it is because I find the hassle of asking for help more trouble than it is worth. And I know that I will do thing right.
So, at home, we all know that getting kids to do stuff is pretty difficult. I can’t stand the attitude. You know, the head toss, door slam, Gawd Mom attitude. Or the boys who will just totally ignore me. But things have changed. If I ask, my oldest son will help lately, unless he really is busy with finals. That is fair. But, it takes a lot for me to ask.
At work, there are CNA’s that have been helping out with vital signs. That is pretty scarey. I really am happier doing my own stuff unless I am swamped with three babies crying at once to eat. But studies show it is dangerous.
So, baby steps here. Asking for help and delegating are new. But in this wierd way, my only steps toward independence.
