date SMARTER

I was thhinking that I should attempt to just date, but I guess I better leave the smarter part in there too. I was visiting a friend who lives on the Navajo rez. She is a single mom with 5 kids. She got a letter in the mail from the state prison. It was a male imate seeking a pen pal. We laughed so hard. Sadly some woman will reply….

I am having a hard time with this… living in isolation is not helping. I have decided to go away for Christmas to a resort town to liven things up a bit for the old love life.

I am not making big progress on this one… at least I could tell him why our situation is not healthly, so it is a step forward, even though it is small.

Today I officially ended a relationship that lasted 5 1/2 years…with a young guy…that was going nowhere. I am hoping this time I will be strong enough to turn him away.

A team has been formed…. Lets date smarter and really support each other. This is for women and men. Lets see if we can get 43 People in 43 Days!

I failed at this one… again… this guy who is new in town, and is really cute asked me out the other day. He could be a Native male model… Anyways, we get to the restaurant and tells me has to pawn stuff in the morning so he can pay a bill. Me being really stupid paid for both of our dinners. Should I have said nothing when he was just going to order soup? Or do the honorable gesture?

This is sad but true, if anything it is worse. Living in one of the most remote areas of the US is not helping my situation.
