I was surprised to find out that there are 6 ways to tell that it is 4.30. For most other normal times, there are at least 3 ways to say it.

Today I came across Google Module for translation. I was not aware of Google Modules, but this one seems pretty useful.
If you have gmail/google account, then it is very easy to use this tool. Follow these instructions:
You’ll get a new section on your personalized Google Home Page.
So whenever I need to quickly translate a phrase/word to German, I just type it in and immediately get back the translated text.
I also use “German to English” section, to test my german skills.
My brother-in-law has learnt german from the germans :) He was working there for more than a year, so learning the language was must. That was few years ago.
Recently he started informal classes for few of his colleagues / relatives/ friends. Since this was once a week, on sunday, I also joined.
Now everyday while driving to work, I revise/repeat what I learnt. This helps me from forgetting what I learnt last week. One of the side benefit is that it also helps me ignore the traffic :)
