I have a very busy week coming up, and tomorrow is my only day to really get things done. I have a number of critical tasks I need to do on Monday, so I think I’ll list them here so that I can cross them off and get in trouble if I don’t!
Critical, need to do tomorrow:
Camp forms – decided to procrastinate to TuesClass planning for Wed- Event billing – half done
Kellogg emailDeliver scholarship money
Not critical, but need to do soon:
Make doctor appt- Make dentist appts
- Thank you note for Diane
- Gift for girl scout leaders
- Summer registrations
- Older neglected emails
- Mail requested newsletters
I’m sure there’s more, but I’ll add as I think of them.
Either that, or I’ll run screaming into the hills.

I found an old to-do list from about a year ago. Almost all the same things that were on it are still on today’s to-do list!
No, not that I haven’t done any of them since then (some of them I haven’t), but it seems like the same things come over and over! Make a dentist appointment, prepare for a class, send a card, plan a trip, etc. It’s discouraging!

I didn’t quite meet my revised deadline, but it doesn’t really matter any more, because it’s done now! And it’s not too bad. It was only about 1800 words, but they were 1800 painful words. I got done with the whole thing and realized I hadn’t checked my notes to make sure everything had gone in. In fact, I hadn’t used my notes at all! Sure enough, virtually everything went from my brain directly to the document, without even needing the notes I took. I knew it was all in there, I just had to get it out in the right order.
I want to thank everyone for their support and encouragement, it really kept me sane. Extra special thanks to Dwlt, who is always so helpful and patient with me and did some editing for me.

Refusing to look at my to-do list. If I can’t think of anything pressing off the top of my head, there must not be anything pressing. Right? And if it’s not pressing, I can put it off until tomorrow, if not longer. Right?

I have to prepare two registration forms tonight so that I can get them photocopied and distributed first thing in the morning. Yet, here I sit, waiting for it to get late enough at night so I’ll start to feel the pressure of running out of time so that I can’t put it off any longer. I just don’t want to do it until I absolutely have to.
(checks clock)
Nah. I have at least another 45 minutes before it will get critical.
