But right now, I’m doing better than usual. I’m up-to-date on two of my types of regular doctor appointments, plus I have a dentist appointment scheduled and coming up. I have one more of my regular doctor appointments to schedule (the dreaded one) and then a follow-up from an earlier one. Then I’ll be free, hopefully, until next summer or longer. For the life of me I can’t remember whether my cardiologist said one year or two, but I’m going with two!
So, two more appointments to schedule and I will check this one off. Yay me!

I’m feeling colder than usual and my weight is stuck. It’s possible that my thyroid finally gave out. (I’ve had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis for at least 18 years.) I was hoping to avoid the doc appointment until after Xmas season.
Of course, it’s also possible that it’s just winter in Minnesota and I’m getting older.

Poop. I think I’m due for my next checkup/screening in May, but I need to call for the appointment quite a bit in advance. It was actually easier when I was going every 3 months, because then there wasn’t any time in between to get “comfortable”.

...I’ll be able to check this one off, finally! Why wouldn’t I keep the appointment I made for Monday? Because it’s the day before I leave for Walt Disney World and I’m sure I’ll need every spare second to pack, etc. It’s just that something came up so that I might need to see the doctor sooner, so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone and get my yearly thing done at the same time. If it turns out to be nothing, I’ll put it off again, only because it’s absolutely necessary.
