I’m retiring this goal. I have been walking more often, and I’m even hoping to get back to doing a little running.

...so I’m going for a walk. I haven’t eaten breakfast yet, though, so I think I should take a Krispy Kreme with me.
We have just a few weeks left of good weather, and I’d like to get some walking in. It will help me with this too!
I have a friend who has offered to go walking with me once in a while. It might help motivate me. She’s a little more of a nature person than I. She says, Bring your rain gear! Ugh!
...which will free me up to go on more walks when the weather is nice. I walked for about 20 minutes today, which was plenty for me.
I was feeling restless, so I went for a walk. It was only about 20 minutes, but it was enough. That makes twice in about a month or so. It doesn’t sound like much, but normally it would be zero, so it’s progress. And it’s because I saw my goal on 43T and it reminded me that it was something I wanted to do.
(Unfortunately, the other thing that I often do when feeling restless is hang up clean laundry, so consequently that didn’t get done this time!)
I haven’t gone on a single walk since I added this goal. Now that the kids are going to be out of school for the summer, it’s unlikely I’ll find the time to do this, unless I walk with them, which means I won’t receive the intended benefits. #1 I’ll be walking more slowly and it won’t be good exercise, and #2 I won’t have any peace and quiet and thinking time.
