I’ve only lost a few pounds, but I already have another goal (the Weight Loss Sprint) that covers the same thing, so this goal is redundant. When I’m done with the sprint, I won’t need this one any more. Since I need room on my list, I’m checking it off.

A lot of damage...  — 1 year ago

...was done at Walt Disney World. I am up 3 pounds from where I last remember being. Basically I’m back where I started, although fortunately I didn’t go as high as I did after my last trip to WDW.

So now I have 8 pounds to go to my goal weight. I’m glad the weather is getting nicer so it will be easier to get in some exercise.

13 Mar: 8 pounds to go

I always...  — 1 year ago

...gain weight when Dwlt is here visiting. I think it’s because I usually eat three largish meals a day when he’s here, because he does. I simply don’t require that many calories. (Really, that’s most people’s problem, isn’t it!)

So I’ve taken those extra pounds off again, and now I still have 5 pounds to go.

Jan 11 5 pounds to go

I think...  — 1 year ago

...I’m finally going the right direction again. I’m below my first milestone (again), and I have about 5 pounds to go (again) to my next milestone.

I’m having some Halloween chocolate.

I hit a plateau.  — 1 year ago

I’m still down from my highest weight, but up from my lowest recent weight. A little time to exercise would help, but right now I’m caught in a crunch. Too much to do, too little time. Maybe next week.

Progress  — 1 year ago

I’m down 4 pounds from my recent high, which means I’ve made it to my first milestone of a BMI of 21. I can also notice slightly less flab on my tummy. Still not good enough though!

Vacation  — 2 years ago

I got home from vacation yesterday afternoon and weighed myself. I had gained 10 pounds in 3-4 weeks. I knew I had gained some, but I didn’t think it would have been that much. At first I told myself that it was because #1 I had just stepped out of the shower (my hair holds a lot of water), #2 I had already eaten breakfast and lunch today (I usually weigh first thing in the morning), and #3 surely I had built up some leg muscles with all that walking I did (see heel blisters for proof).

I was deceiving myself. I tried on some pants that fit me fine earlier in the summer, and I could barely get them zipped. I weighed again this morning, completely dry and before breakfast, and I was only a pound lighter.

So now I have 9 pounds to lose on top of the 8 pounds I was already hoping for. I will mostly focus on diet, although I hope to add in a little extra activity, beginning in a week or so when the kids are back in school.

New goals: Lose 5 pounds within the next two weeks, and 10 pounds (the next 5 pounds) by mid-October. Then I’ll think about the next 7 pounds, because really that’s just vanity weight.

EDIT: I decided that my first milestone will be BMI of 21, my second milestone will be BMI of 20, and my third milestone will be BMI of 19.

Evil potluck leftovers. Back up two pounds.

Evil Cupcakes  — 2 years ago

I’m down a couple of pounds from my highest weight (at least my recent highest weight), but it’s slow going. I don’t have time for exercise right now, and there are cupcakes in the kitchen. I was doing so well today until the cupcake.
