Sad to check this goal off, but happy to have had the opportunity to spend time with Snickerdoodle! Happy trails, Snicks!

Snickerdoodle MacBear is having so many new adventures – things he had never dreamed of ever doing! For instance, he got to ride in a real hot air balloon! The view was amazing!

Then he got to meet a real giraffe at the San Diego Wild Animal Park! The giraffes come right up to the jeep so that the tour participants can feed them. They’re very friendly, and Snicks was only a little bit nervous. He knew he wasn’t green so he knew the giraffe wouldn’t confuse him for food.

Snickerdoodle was so excited to be in Hollywood! He hoped someone would discover him and make a movie about his travels!

Next Snicks revisited Las Vegas, seeing the impressive Bellagio fountains…

...and meeting a real Klingon at the Star Trek Experience! Wow!

Next, he admired the incredible view at the Grand Canyon…

...before placing each of his paws in a different state at the Four Corners Monument!

Sadly, Snickerdoodle’s adventures with me are soon coming to an end. He’ll be going to Denver soon, so I’m not sure how many more adventures we’ll still have together. But it’s sure been a fabulous trip!
Snicks had yesterday’s rule-breaking incident fresh in his mind when we visited Alcatraz. He was glad he didn’t have to stay.

Riding the Cable Cars in San Francisco was fun!

The only bear we saw in Yosemite National Park was Snickerdoodle MacBear! Here he is, sitting near Lower Yosemite Fall, enjoying nature.

Now, you’d think that Snickerdoodle would have been nervous after his experience at Alcatraz, but no… Here he is, bear naked on the beach in Santa Barbara. It wasn’t a nude beach, though!

Oh wait, he is still wearing his hat…
After all that mischief, it was time to move on to some more wholesome fun: Disneyland!

Snickerdoodle loved Disneyland. He met Goofy…

...and Alice in Wonderland, who listened to the story of Snick’s travels and thought he was just the cutest thing ever! She was excessively cute herself!

Snicks had also hoped to meet Winnie the Pooh (being a stuffed bear like himself), as well as the Big Cheese, Mickey Mouse, but these characters were difficult to locate this time around. Perhaps Snickerdoodle will be able to visit a Disney park again some day!
Snicks went along with us to the Gas Works Park fireworks:

I think he was impressed, both by the fireworks and the crowds. These fireworks were even in a cube shape:

Then we checked out the Heceta Head Lighthouse in Oregon – here’s Snicks from a distance:

After that we visited the Sea Lions Cave:

Snicks says that the real sea lions (not the ones in this statue) are noisy and stinky. (Perhaps he was even a little afraid of them, having had some scary interactions with wild animals in the past!)
.
The next day we visited the Giant Redwoods in California. Snicks climbed “The Immortal Tree” on the Avenue of Giants:

Oops…

Such a mischievous bear!
I picked him up in Seattle from the Robot Co-Op Office:
And then we went to see the view from the Seattle Space Needle:
Anywhere to buy a pizza down there?
