talk to my brother more

My brother had offered to take me to a casino in AC to play some poker because he lives 10 minutes from there. I’ve been way too intimidated to go before. We started off playing 2-4, where I lost 40 bucks quickly. We always play poker when the family gets together, but my brother showed me everything I’d need to know to play at the tables. I entered a 100 dollar tournament with him. I was so, so, so nervous! But I did pretty well…about 64 out of 150-something. He lasted a little bit longer. As awesome as that experience was, my brother’s interaction with me was equally as exciting. I am so happy with how the weekend went.

Things have been steadily going better. He came to my graduation and my graduation party. Not only that but he bought a Mustang convertible and at my party offered for me to give it a test drive before anyone else. I think we both appreciate each other more. I appreciate the fact that he’s not always about talking all the time and he appreciates the fact that I want more communication. I’m pretty content for now.

We’re going to meet up in Philly on Saturday. This is pretty huge. We’ve only hung out once outside of family functions and it was at a party so there were a bunch of people. This time it will only be me, him, and my sister. I’m a little nervous, but hopefully it goes well.

Attempted to talk to him on AIM the other day. It was a little bit frustrating because I had to ask all the questions and he would answer them very simply. Oh well.
