tackle like a pro in rugby rather than throwing an illegal punch like george bush

My coach said I’m a wrecking ball and a gazell combined if you can imagine that. Basically right now one of the few backs on are rugby team that go lunge forward when tackling people. Ultimately meaning I’m not afraid of whoever they are and I know that I’m gonna taker her down. I know I accomplished my goal here because one of the girls on my team tried to tackle and as a result had half her face black and blue for two weeks, including around her eye. It wasn’t my fault I’m boney and I can run through her. I didn’t mean to hurt her, but the play earlier I takled her so well that she had to sit out. It wasn’t cause I’m a bigger she had the momentum but rather cause I was able to get low and more or less pick her up in a sense and drive right over onto her and force her to hit right on to back which padded my fall.

This is my first season playing rugby and I’m loving it but sometimes I think to much when I’m getting ready to tackle a girl. I don’t want to think, I just want to smash the shit out of her, cause usually when I think like with any sport I’ve played I mess up. Sometimes I get a great tackle and sometimes, I get so frustrated that I just end up picking up the girl and dropping her in an illegal tackle way. like i know its illegal, whatever scrawny little me is trying that all i can say. So I want to learn how to tackle. be it jumping through the air or grabbing at their knees. I’m gonna be a force to be reconded with even if I’m only 118 lbs and 5’8” hell no one gonna stop this wrecking ball.
