I am reading the series in Spanish. This goal started when I was working as a librarian in an orphanage in Guatemala. Harry Potter was wildly popular with my kids and I was curious to see what all the hype was about. At the time I set the goal, Harry was beyond my Spanish level, but after a couple of months working in the library, I began “Harry Potter y La Piedra Filosofal” and I fell in love with Harry. Now I only have the last 2 left to read. I bought them both this summer while I was in Peru…but I’m in no rush. It actually makes me feel kind of sad to think of losing Harry from my life. hehe.
