list three things every day that made me happy

1. New curtains for the living room! And Harlan’s promise that we’ll redo the living room in the summer so it’s drywall instead of panelling.

2. Getting to hang out with two of the grandkids for the day. Liz is an enthusiastic reader and went home with lots of books. Jake was having fun cheering for the ‘Boys with grandpa. And playing with the psp. They are going to love Christmas this year.

3. Liz gave me a great idea for Christmas for my granddaughter up north. She’s growing up so fast.

1. Coffee in the morning. We take it much too much for granted.

2. Reading time. Under the Dome needs more of my attention.

3. Robin Hood. I will miss this series. It was a fitting end.

1. No snow! They had predicted 1-2 inches and we didn’t get any! Yay!

2. Getting through the day at work without any disasters. Books is difficult this time of year. So far we’ve gotten special orders in and no temper tantrums.

3. Having Saturday off. I plan to do some reading!

1. My new shoes not bothering my feet at work all day.

2. General Hospital.

3. Hearing about Harlan’s terrible day. It being terrible didn’t make me happy, but the fact that he could share with me did.

1. The day off. I didn’t do much except some knitting.

2. Getting a new netflix movie in. Night in the Museum 2!

3. Catching up on Castle. I love that show!

4. Watching my calories. I did pretty well.

1. A productive day at work. We got it all done, I think.

2. Being able to watch tv after I got home. I thought about reading, but it was one of those I-don’t-want-to-think-about-anything moods.

3. An early to bed night.

1. Seeing Harlan enjoy the new television. He’s like a kid with a new toy. Basketball! Hockey! Football! He loves them all on a bigger hi def screen.

2. Harlan went to bed earlier and got up earlier again. Pretty soon he’ll find himself with my schedule!

3. A fun day at work. We had way too many people back there. The two doing goship hung out there most of the day.

1. That one little pink rose hanging on so pretty on the bush outside.

2. Harlan helping clean the living room. I never thought I’d see it happen. Yay for the help!

3. Catching up on soap operas half the day. Harlan got a television for the living room that comes with a dvr, so I’d lose mine if I didn’t.

4. Playing at shockwave for a while.

1. Having Harlan home. He went a little crazy and did some major Christmas shopping while I was at work.

2. Having dinner ready when I got home. Yay!

3. A lazy night in front of the television. I was ready to fall asleep early.

1. Not having to work the four hour sale. I got to go in later.

2. Monk. I’m sure going to miss new episodes on that show.

3. Leftover turkey. Yum!
