publish my poems

Started writing a little bit again. I don’t know where this inspiration is coming from. Exam preasure? Could well be. It’s nice to read over something nice you’ve writen. Nice.

I got back word on how one of the competitions I entered went. I didn’t win anything but it was cool to get the winners list and remember about entering.

My next poetic adventure is going to be trying out some formats, e.g. Haikus, Sonnets, etc.

So I’m writing again. Not getting much closer to publishing my poems though. I have compiled everything I’ve done to date so I can see what is worth submiting to various publishers, so at least that’s something. Anyone know of a good publisher?

I’ve actually written very little in the last 6 weeks, but I have made some progress. Sweet. More fictional writing that poetry. My poems tend to be exactly what’s going on right now.

But there are a few competitions and such I’ve sussed out. I posted them on my site(there’s 4 of them). For all you non-Irish people, they want you to. Really.

I think I’ve let this goal slip a lot in the past month or so. I’ve got two more things writen, one of which will form the lyrics of a song called Lullaby.

I wrote something. That’s a start. Right now I’m sick so that will aid the writing process. And I played scrabble yesterday, though I lost, I feel more “wordy”. Is that even a word. My quotes answer that question for me.

Haven’t really written anything of late. I should force myself to do that one to get you back in. You know the one, the crap poem that comes from nowhere, but you know afterwards whether you can write something good soon, you can see if the inspiration and articulation are finally there. I’ve a long journey tomorrow, perhaps I will have time to think and write.

I’ve been getting loads of feedback on my poems, which is great. Seam people really are interested. I will continue to write, at all costs…
