I made a 6 – 7 litre pot of soup yesterday with my housemate! It took over 3 hours to cook, but it tastes amazing. There’s around 12 vegtables in it plus various seasonings and such. Cooking is great, ya hear?

I moved out of my parents house there over a month ago now, so I’ve been cooking for myself. You get better out of necessity. I made a particularly nice and satisfying Chili con carny this week. Everyone loves my food
I made a really nice lasagna last week, and a slightly over-done chile. Super cool
I’m cooking most of my own food these days, but it’s nothing spectacular. Just getting by, nutrition being the necessity.
I made beef burgers today, and a whole dinner for my family(minus one brother). Hand making burgers is nice, you get to decide how they taste. I suppose that’s what the allure of cooking really is, to eat what you want. And the fact that your body needs substance. Or something.
I cooked another Lasagna last week. Any ideas what I should attempt to cook next? Something with a good taste, perhaps spicy or something.
Today I cooked some wonderful steaks, marinaded in balsamic vinegar, paprika, cajun, red pepper and a little bit of mixed herbs. My god they were beautiful, I have friends to verify this.
I’m going to cook a lasania next week, and make a cheese cake I think. I’ll post a picture of how they turn out. Go food!
